Silva Bay Inn offers its guests oceanfront accommodations in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The Inn's seven oceanfront suites have stunning views across Silva Bay and the Flat Top Islands to the Coastal Mountains. The Inn's spacious suites include full kitchens or kitchenettes. Located on lovely ocean side grounds, the Inn is at the head of Silva Bay, on the rural South End of Gabriola Island. Farms, artists, wooden boat builders, kayaking, fishing and sailing are within walking distance of the Inn, as well as a resort with a pub and liquor store. Silva Bay and Gabriola Island are host to numerous festivals and events throughout the year. There is something for everyone, whether your interest is maritime, music, or art. Local Information »
Gabriola is one of the southern Gulf Islands, between BC 's lower mainland and Vancouver Island. Guests can fly directly to Silva Bay by float plane service from Vancouver Airport in 15 minutes or take a 20 minute car ferry to Gabriola from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. It is about 14km to the Silva Bay Inn from the ferry dock on the North End of the Island, and a scenic car or bike ride. If you're on foot, Island Taxi can meet the Ferry and drop you at the Inn's door. Directions » |
